The Foundation’s capital is managed by a skills based volunteer Board of Directors from our local community. As a charitable trust, the Foundation manages funds for maximum return and security in accordance with the Trustee Act 1958.

The aim of the Foundation is to raise money through donations, bequests and fundraising. These donations are invested wisely and the income generated from these investments is used to fund special projects at both the Horsham and Dimboola hospitals, which directly benefit the people of the Wimmera, guaranteeing the highest quality health care.
In April 2022 the WHCG Foundation announced its “2026 Vision” being a new strategic plan including a target of $4 million in capital by 2026.
