Wimmera Health Care Group Foundation

The Foundation’s capital is managed by a skills based volunteer Board of Directors from our local community. As a charitable trust, the Foundation manages funds for maximum return and security in accordance with the Trustee Act 1958.

The Wimmera Health Care Group (WHCG) Foundation, established in 1989, is a public charitable fund.

2020 Vision

In April 2014 the WHCG Foundation announced its “2020 Vision” being a new strategic plan incorporating funding assistance in the building of the Wimmera Cancer Centre and a target of $2 million in capital by 2020.  The WHCG Foundation proudly advises it achieved this target in early 2020.

The WHCG Foundation committed $420,000 over 6 years towards the Wimmera Cancer Centre located at the Horsham Campus. This commitment is from the income generated by funds invested from YOUR donations to the Foundation.
